Mentor
Mentors are professionals who guide and advise mentees in their career paths to help them succeed. A mentor's role is to inspire, encourage, guide, support and advise their mentees.
Time commitment:
at least 1 hour per month
Program duration:
6 months
Required qualities:
Enthusiastic to share their knowledge and experience
Good listener / sounding board
Values diversity of perspectives
Honest / non-judgmental
Able to deliver constructive feedback
Has a growth mindset
Cares about developing others
Required experience (for this program):
5+ years of working experience (with ADM or another company)
Subject Matter Expert in their field
Role model of ADM’s leadership behaviors and values
Note:
Before signing up please ensure to inform your direct manager. Mentoring is a commitment and requires time so manager alignment prior signing up is recommended
Mentee
Mentees are students who want guidance and advice to further their careers and to be successful. Mentees can expect to strengthen and build their networks, and gain the skills and confidence necessary to excel.
Time commitment:
at least 1 hour per month
Program duration:
6 months
Required qualities:
Is curious and shows a genuine desire to learn and develop
Takes responsibility for their personal and professional development
Comes prepared to meetings and is open to feedback
Has a growth mindset
